Exciting Times

There have been many endless lockdown days when we have just not known what to do with ourselves but I have tried to put any spare moment to good use. Whilst I haven’t been able to press publish on my latest blog post yet, there has been plenty of work going on in the background.

I am delighted to be a part of The National Curriculum Crisis Campaign Team with our aim being to bring together a group of parents, teachers, headteachers, professionals and most importantly children to petition for and redesign a nurture curriculum which meets the needs and learning styles of all children. In my role as a County Leader I am seeking support from my local MP and also looking forward to upcoming meetings where further plans to develop the campaign will be revealed. If you would like to find out more, please click the link above.

Since starting my blog back at the beginning of lockdown, I am also thrilled to share that it has been recognised by The PDA Society and it now features on their website under a list of resources. Their content and advice was crucially important from the outset of our journey and continues to be the place I signpost other families and professionals to. As lockdown restrictions begin to ease hopefully in the autumn term I will be working with The PDA Society to deliver training to families and schools.
